<description>Am Paipear&#039;s fuel petition has now been heard by the Petitions Committee of the Scottish Parliament.

The Committee has decided that the issue should be pursued and so are writing to the Scottish Parliament on our behalf.

The Committee&#039;s official report can be read on the Scottish Parlaiment&#039;s website:
http://www.scottish.parliament.uk/s3/committees/petitions/or-08/pu08-1402.htm#Col1075

The Committee&#039;s deliberations can also be watched on the archive footage from Holyrood TV here:
http://www.holyrood.tv/library.asp?iPid=3&amp;section=43&amp;title=Public+Petitions

and click on the Public Petitions Committee 23/09/2008 link

The Fuel Petition is discussed from around 1hr 30mins into the meeting and can be watched immediately by clicking that far into the footage to jump directly to it.

The Committee&#039;s decision means that Am Paipear&#039;s campaign can now begin in earnest and we would ask that everyone who supports the issue get in touch with us and tell us how the issue afftects you. We will add all the information into the dossier we are collating and will present this dossier to the parliament in due course.</description>
