A ballot of electors in the Carloway Estate area is to be held to ask if they would be in favour of Carloway Estate Trust (Urras Oigreachd Chàrlabhaigh) buying the Carloway Estate, including the sporting and mineral rights, from the current landowner, Mr Galloway. Applications to be included on the register of electors or amendments to details contained on the register must be made to:-

Applications must be in by 4pm on February 6.
Postal ballot papers will be issued on February 10. Completed ballot papers must be returned by 4pm on Monday, February 24. The public counting of votes will be at Breasclete Community Centre at 7.30pm on Monday, February 24.
