   According to Alasdair Morrison, official local Labour party mouthpiece, it was all the fault of the SNP administration in Edinburgh. He said “What has Angus Brendan, our so-called MP, ever done to cure locals suffering from mystery illnesses – were I in power, I’d have arranged for Ed to lay his hands on them to ensure an instant cure.”

   Mickey Macfoot is completely correct in stating that the Snp are to blame.If proof were needed,just look at recent events,where not only were the liberal party laid low with a mystery illness,the spread to the Scottish Labour party was cataclysmic.Meanwhile the SNP sailed blithely on,with no signs of anything untoward.The latest twist in this saga,is an all consuming attack of the “Grumblies” on many members of the labour group.It is to be hoped this is quickly followed by a large dose of reality,and plenty of daylight.Yes Mickey,the SNP have much to answer for,and no doubt they will over the coming years

   Its now believed that the mystery illness that has recently swept through the Western Isles is a newly discovered form of the AIDS virus.

   Its unpleasant symptoms include a gradual loss of mental functioning as the infected patient is overtaken by obsessional behaviour. There is also an accompanying craving for a special type of grass which the patient claims to be much greener on the other side. It ain’t ! . Nor is total celibacy any guarantee of protection from contact with this highly-infectious and virulent strain of AIDS ( Awaiting Independence Day Scotland )
