Important information from Business Gateway on behalf of The Comhairle Procurement Department.Trades Framework (Buildings) ContractThe Comhairle have undertaken a review their requirements for Trades Services and have now decided to reissue tenders for Trades Services on the basis of Building Services only. Please note that the requirement for Roads Maintenance and Surface Dressing will be now be tendered as a separate contract and we will be issuing details of that contract including supplier events in January 2013. This procurement requirement is for a Framework Contract for the provision of Trades Services for Buildings. The Comhairle will advertise the new contract on the Public Contracts Scotland Portal in January 2013. You can register as a supplier on the Portal at: www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk. You can also download the tender documents from that site when they are published in January. The event will consist of a short presentation and officers representing the Comhairle’s Legal Services, Procurement, the Technical Services Departments and Business Gateway will be available to answer any questions.
