A boat’s propellor was stolen from the pier at Kirkibost, Great Bernera, sometime in December or January. Why would anyone do such a mean thing? We can only guess.
Luckily, we have a photo of the propellor in question and I would like you to rack your brains to think if you have seen one like it recently.
If you think you know where it is now or who may have it, please do your bit to get it back to the rightful owner by dialling 101 and asking for the Stornoway cops.
I think I saw it attached to the rear of a mini clubman that was navigating the floods on Bayhead Street on Saturday morning. Off course, it may not have been the same one although it looked very like it. Perhaps a ‘twin screw’.
